Nicholette Routhier Registrar/School Administrator
Nicholette Routhier (nicholette@dellarte.com) is a theatre artist from Washington, DC. She has her MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, CA. With a BA in Dance from the George Washington University, Ms. Routhier danced, taught and choreographed professionally in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with Deborah Riley Dance Projects, Clancyworks Dance Company, Jane Jerardi, and her duet company, Transport with Wendell Cooper. In addition to her physical theatre training at Dell’Arte, she trained at the Centre for Movement Theatre in DC and with Friches Theatre Urbain, a street theatre company in Paris, France, where she studied Lecoq-based physical theatre and mask performance. Ms. Routhier has taught a variety of performing arts classes including dance, theatre, acrobatics, and Tai Chi to all ages, from youth to adult, with varying levels of experience. Her alter-ego, Albert McFee, can be found on Facebook, YouTube, and emceeing events throughout Humboldt County. Nicholette is now employed at DAI as the School's Registrar, and teaches tai chi to the PTP. |
